Vegetarian meatballs in turmeric sauce
Ingredients for the vegetarian meatballs:
250 grams of vegetarian minced meat
2 smaller carrots
2 cloves of garlic
1 bag of baking powder
3 tablespoons olive oil
Parsely
Salt
pepper
Ingredients for the sauce:
200 ml vegan sour cream for cooking
200 ml tomato sauce
2-3 teaspoons turmeric
2 teaspoons cumin
a pinch of salt
a pinch of sugar
pepper

Preparation:
Chop fresh veggie ground beef and garlic in a food processor. Add grated carrots and finely chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper, then add the baking powder and olive oil and mix until you have a compact mass.
Scoop out the mixture with a spoon and shape into meatballs. Bake the meatballs in the oven at 180° for about 15 minutes (until they get a nice golden colour). Set aside while the sauce prepares.
In a deep pan, add the vegan cooking cream and tomato sauce, then add all the spices and simmer briefly over low heat. After stirring, add the meatballs and simmer for another five minutes. Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley.
